This just looks so creative and fun. A 3 day convention pulled together buy ‘a guy called Aaron’ to play boardgames. It’s at the University but not exclusive to. Who doesn’t love a good game of Monopoly or a battle of chess! Check it out, or pass it on to a friend.

Over the weekend, despite the cold weather we couldn’t resist the sunshine. So we rolled the pram down Marine drive and found ourselves lured into The Salty Bean. We enjoyed a cappuccino and a flapjack. I’m not a coffee expert, but when I’m drinking good coffee, I just know it. It was fantastic, clearly made by people who love coffee, not just the idea of it. The atmosphere was great, the staff were all very friendly making us feel most welcome and its a dog friendly place too. Swing by this place when you’re next in Morecambe, you won’t be disappointed. We’re already planning to head back for a cooked breakfast soon!

Eden Project - 2026 will see the start of developments. A new garden called ‘Bring me Sunshine’ will be included. This will be showcased as part of the Chelsea Flower Show.

Lancaster Music Co-op - these guys are passionate about supporting local musical artists to grow their talents. They’re planning to open a non-profit practice studio and to help fund it they have released an album full of generous local artists who have backed the project by giving one of their songs for the record. Nature: Connection and Recovery - a programme designed to help people improve their health and wellbeing has been awarded £2.5m. The project is connected to the Eden project, read here.

The William Mitchel Bub in Westgate did a top job raising money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation. Over £1000 is going to the charity due to their creative efforts over the festive period including a Christmas Market supported by local vendors and also activities like wreath making. Well done gang!
