8-11 Oct 2026 - Lancaster Music Festival have announced the dates for their next event.

Over the weekend I grabbed a takeaway coffee from Ralphy’s. An americano was £2.70 which is an amazing price for a top quality coffee. It’s just opposite the Eric Morecambe statue which is a great location to park, grab a brew and enjoy the view - and that I did. Well worth putting on your list to try out.

Shaun Gash a Lancastrian to be proud of has recently been presented with an MBE. It was presented by Princess Anne at Windsor Castle. Shaun has been recognised for Services to Charity and Disabled People. He has overcome significant obstacles (life threatening accident), completed daring challenges (parachuting, scuba diving), inspired 1000s and took part in raising £40m for good causes. Read more.

Shaun Denny is paying it forward in a tremendous way. He spent years if his living on the streets but now after a huge transformation he is now in the position to raise money for homeless.
