Restoration for Rylands House

Rylands House has a restoration plan. The long term goal is that a charitable trust will take it over with a focus on SEND.

Carrington’s coffee is a wonderful local coffee shop roasting their own brand. Doghouse is their best selling single-estate Brazillian coffee blend. They offer a subscription service if you’d like to set and forget so it arrives regularly to keep you fuelled up. Their ethos to fuel the bold runs through everything they represent giving everything that coffee should be, delicious and full of character. Make it a priority to visit these guys.

They’re situated on a opposite the crossing in Bolton-le-sands. Google maps link.

Heavy storms in January have led to a plan to rebuild the cafe in Williamson Park. It will be next to the butterfly house in the future.

A new Banking Hub, owned by Cash Access UK, has opened in the Arndale to give an alternative to online banking. Visit the banking hub served by the post office.

Eric Morecambe was born 100 years ago, next year. Loved dearly by all he deserves a good shindig and we’re going to party like it! Morecambe’s favourite son will be remembered by all. The celebration plans are all ready on the way. Watch this space for more details.

The foundations of our community is powered by unseen local heroes giving their time and energy to help each other. Great news - the National Lottery has granted £400k to support local charities and volunteers.
